Introduction About Chemicals Used as Fertilizers :
The sources of nitrogen used in fertilizers are many, includingammonia (NH3), diammoni um phosphate ((NH4)2HPO4), ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3), ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4), calcium cyanamide (CaCN2), calcium nitrate (Ca(NO3)2), sodium nitrate (NaNO3), andurea (N2H4CO).To know more about Chemicals Used as Fertilizers, watch Chemicals Used as Fertilizers Video to learn more .
Chemicals Used as Fertilizers :
For natural plants to grow and thrive they need a number of chemical elements, but the most important are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Most packaged fertilizers contain these three macronutrients. Nitrogen is especially important, and every amino acid in plants contains nitrogen as it an essential component for plants to manufacture new cells. Fertilizing plants causes them to grow more rapidly and efficiently, just like ensuring a manufacturing plant has all the raw materials it needs for a production line.
A commonly manufactured fertilizer is ammonium nitrate, a chemical compound with the symbol NH4NO3. A white crystalline solid at room temperature, nitrogen forms about one-third of this compound. Ammonium nitrate is popular as a fertilizer because it is very soluble in the soil and the nitrate can move deep into the root zone under wet conditions.watch Chemicals Used as Fertilizers Video to learn more .
A fertilizer is essentially a blended mixture of one or more organic or inorganic compounds or chemicals needed by the plants for enhanced and nourished growth. Based on these constituent components.watch Chemicals Used as Fertilizers Video to learn more .
